The Curriculumn
Artist Development
The curriculum is tailored to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that each student's unique vision and goals are addressed. Students will have access to materials and resources, such as industry contacts, to support their learning and growth.
business development
We go over topics such as building a business plan, setting up a musical business, managing rights and royalties, copyrights, co-writing and splits, negotiating publishing agreements, and securing grants and funding are covered. The curriculum also covers the workings of labels and the music streaming industry, management agreements, performance contracts, and managing finances.
marketing and brand development
The curriculum focuses on helping students find and develop their brand, create a social media strategy, build a press kit, grow their social media and fan following, prepare for a release, and promote shows and tours. Students will also learn how to build their bio, create effective EPKs and one pagers, prepare for interviews, and pitch for gigs.
creative development
Students receive personalized one-on-one voice coaching sessions, performance coaching, and studio preparation. Topics include pre-recording vocal prep and pre-production, managing performance-related anxiety and stress, coordinating session musicians, creating demos, and preparing for open mics and songwriting sessions. The curriculum also covers pre-gig preparation, pre-show vocal and performance preparation, songwriting, and composition.
